Profile Settings

The profile page is where you manage your own account: your picture, display name, password, API keys, and account deletion. Open it from the avatar menu in the sidebar (click your avatar, then choose Profile settings).

Profile picture

Your profile picture appears next to your name in conversations, member lists, and the sidebar. You can either upload a photo or pick a generated avatar.

  • Upload — click Upload and choose an image file. CubePlex converts it to a 256×256 square PNG (preserving aspect ratio, centered) and stores it. Any reasonable image works; faces and logos both render well at avatar size.
  • Shuffle — click Shuffle to generate a fresh grid of 30 cartoon avatars (DiceBear "notionists" style), then click any one in the gallery to make it your picture. Each shuffle produces a new random set, so you can keep shuffling until you find one you like.
  • Reset — click Reset to clear your choice and return to the default generated avatar. This removes an uploaded photo or a picked generated avatar, so your picture falls back to the one auto-generated from your account seed.

The current avatar shows at the top-left of the editor, next to the three action buttons. Once the editor finishes saving, your choice propagates everywhere your picture appears — group-chat sender badges, member lists, and the sidebar.
